I was fortunate to find my passion from a very early age - I was about 12. My early love for freestyle meant it was pure without any expectation – I just did it because I wanted to and I was inspired.

How vulnerable it feels to recognize myself as an artist, a photographer or maker of tiny beautiful strands of beads. How terrifying to put your creativity out into the world, and how wonderful when it resonates with others.

I was born on the island. Where cold turquoise water meets orange lichen rocks. Where the air is scented with myrtle and ocean mist. Where colourful market stalls are abundant with produce and Huon pine woodworks fill old sandstone streets. Beautiful palawa country.
